This privacy policy aims to give you a clear view of how we process your data and use your information, our dedication to protecting your data, the options you have to exercise control over your information and protect your privacy accordingly. with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Data Processing

    1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

    Access to and use of the client card, as well as the sportino.pt website, implies full and unreserved acceptance by the user of the conditions of use in force at any given time. In compliance with Law 67/98 of 26 October on the Protection of Personal Data, we hereby inform you that the processing of personal data collected on the sportino.pt website is the responsibility of the company:

    We process the personal data we collect as part of our commercial relationship with customers and in order to fulfil applicable legal and regulatory obligations. The data collected is used for processing orders and communicating with customers, processing requests for information and any complaints, analysing statistics and using it for direct marketing purposes.

    We process the personal data collected in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and other applicable legislation.

    The processing of personal data is carried out in order to maintain the company's relationship with the client, the data subject, to enable transactions to be carried out and for the execution and processing of your requests.

    3. What data do we process?

    The data processed by Sportino, Unip. Lda. is data that you have provided to us via https://sportino.pt or in our physical shops and concerns the following personal data: name, address, postcode, town, telephone number, country, e-mail address and tax number.


  • Intellectual and Industrial Property

    All the intellectual and industrial property rights of our website and its contents are the property and ownership of Sportino Unip. Lda. or third party owners who have duly authorised their inclusion on our website.
    Within the company, employees who need it to fulfil legal purposes have access to your data.

    At no time does Sportino, Unip. Lda. transfers your data to third parties.

  • Responsibility

    All products commercialised on the Sportino.pt website comply with Portuguese legislation. Sportino.pt declines all responsibility in the event of a breach of the legislation of the country where the order is delivered. It is up to the Customer to check with the local authorities the conditions of import or use of the products they wish to order. It is forbidden to introduce, store or disseminate defamatory, obscene, insulting, xenophobic and/or any other type of content that violates the general principles of law and public order. You must keep, and not disclose, your password for entering the site in order to prevent third parties from accessing your Sportino.pt account. Do not use false identities. You must provide correct personal details and addresses so that we can process orders properly. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and undertakes to immediately enter any changes to it in their Sportino.pt registration account.
  • Marketing

    Sportino, Unip. Lda. may process your data (e-mail and telephone contact) to send you information about discount vouchers, news and promotion notices.
    This data processing will only be carried out with the consent given at the time of signing up for the customer card and marketing campaigns.
  • Video surveillance in stores

    The Sportino, Unip. Lda. stores have a video surveillance system, duly signposted. The installation of this system is a legal obligation of Sportino, Unip. Lda. in accordance with the Private Security Law (Law no. 34/2013, of 16 May, art. 8 no. 2).

    The image recordings obtained by the video surveillance system are kept in an encrypted record for a period of up to 30 days from the time they were taken, after which they are destroyed.


  • Recruitment

    Sportino respects your concern regarding the privacy of the personal data you provide us with. We also consider it important to inform you about the use we make of your personal data. Acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy signifies your consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of staff selection and recruitment.

    1. How does the application system work?

    Candidates can apply for a specific vacancy, a traineeship vacancy or a vacancy through a spontaneous application. We are looking for unique, hard-working and enthusiastic employees for our team.

    The information provided is used by Sportino, as well as its subcontractors, treating it confidentially and maintaining security.

    You can access your personal data, obtain a copy of it and/or ask for it to be updated or deleted, under the terms of the law, by contacting us through the physical shops or via e-mail to: recrutamento@sportino.pt. The personal data of any candidate who applies to Sportino will be kept in the database for up to 60 days.


  • Rights

    1. What are my rights regarding the processing of my personal data?

    Your Personal Data is important to us and we want to continue to use it in a lawful and transparent manner to support the services we provide.

    As a data subject you can exercise your rights to: Access, Rectification, Forgetting, Limitation and Opposition and Portability when applicable.

    You may at any time request a copy of the consent you have given us.

    2. Do I have an obligation to provide my data?

    There is no obligation whatsoever to provide your personal data, however, in order for an online transaction to be carried out successfully and legally, your details such as address, name, tax number, e-mail address and telephone number are required.
